I love the Harry Potter books. If you’ve not noticed yet, i’m a harry potter fanatic. I feel extremely possessive when it comes to Harry Potter. So you can imagine how excited i was about the Goblet of Fire. It was like anticipating the debut of a child. Okay, that may sound creepy to a non-harry potter fan. But that’s how much i love the harry potter series. Anyway, the 4th film live up to its hype. I really love it. A friend of mine was disappointed because they didn’t show quidditch at the world cup, or how the other champions survive the 1st match. But i think it stayed true to the book because it showed a lot of depth in the characters. Before, the characters of Ron and Hermione were more like "sidekicks" rather than friends. But in this film they even showed the fight between Ron and Harry, which happens a lot even in the earlier books; and of course, the growing attraction between hermione and Ron. The movie also showed how funny the Weasley twins are. In the 1st and 2nd film they were nonexistent. And, of course, Cedric Diggory was absolutely gorgeous. Robert Pattinson didn’t just look like the Cedric Diggory in the book, but he acted like him. Nagulat daw siya nang nabasa niya sa script description kay Cedric as "absurdly handsome 17-year old boy". Guwapo talaga. Napakaraming funny scenes. Gustong-gusto ko yung kay Snape, nung nagdadaldalan sina Hermione, Ron, and Harry, at pinagbababtukan niya ang mga ito. Actually, andaming nakakatawa. Pangbalance siguro kasi heartbreaking naman yung sa huli. Anyway, I enjoyed the first task. Parang they really focused on showing the flying prowess of Harry. Ang galing ng paglipad niya. Lalo na nung sinakyan niya na ung broomstick. Okay naman si Cho Chang. Ayaw siya ng friend ko kasi kamukha raw ni Sarah Geronimo. Si neville ang laki na ng role dito. Ganda ng transitions ng mga scenes. Yung priori incantatem nakakalungkot talaga.
Eto lang yung medyo kakaibang napansin ko. Naweirduhan lang ako kay Dumbledore nang sugurin niya si Harry when he wanted to know kung nilagay niya nga yung name niya in the Goblet. Hello, tumatakbo pa talaga siya. Akala ko sasakmalin niya na si Harry. Medyo parang nawala yung tenderness niya kay Harry. Pero gusto ko yung authority na ineexude ng presence niya. Kasi imagine mo kung yung dumbledore sa 1st and 2nd ang makikipagduel kay voldemort sa 5th film. Akala ko ako lang nakapansin, pero marami nga nakanotice na medyo OA acting ni Hermione. Walang depth character ni Fleur. Parang hindi siya bitchy. Nonetheless, ito pa rin ang pinakagusto ko sa lahat.
